What started as an idea has grown into a community built on connection, confidence, and leaving every place a little sweeter than you found it. More than a clothing brand, Sugar is a reminder that good energy spreads, and that the way we treat people matters.
Meet Talya
Hi, I'm Talya, founder of Sugar.
What started as a simple idea between friends has grown into something I never imagined. My friends and I would greet each other with "Hey, Sugar," and over time that little nickname became so much more than just a word. It represented kindness, encouragement, and always having each other's backs. I started making sweatshirts for my friends, and before long, other people began asking where they could get one too.
One of the moments that really shaped the vision happened during a summer trip to Italy with one of my best friends. Being surrounded by beautiful places, meeting new people, and making unforgettable memories reminded me that the sweetest parts of life are almost always about the people you're with. I came home inspired to build something that could capture that feeling.
Today, Sugar is more than apparel. It's a reminder to spread kindness, make people feel seen, and leave every place a little sweeter than you found it. Every hoodie, hat, and tank is designed to celebrate friendship, confidence, and the little moments that end up meaning the most.
I'm 17 years old and an upcoming high school senior with dreams of studying business and fashion in college. Outside of Sugar, you'll usually find me working out, playing volleyball, reading, traveling, or spending time with my family and friends.
Building Sugar has taught me that the best ideas grow through community. From family helping behind the scenes, to friends modeling collections, to pop-ups, collaborations, and every person who's supported this journey, this brand has always been bigger than just me.
This is only the beginning, and I'm so grateful you're here.

Eden is a student at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she's studying Marketing and Public Relations. She loves spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and attending music festivals, bringing an adventurous spirit to everything she does. Since the early days of Spread Sugar, Eden has played an important role in developing the brand's social media presence, shaping its voice, and growing brand awareness. Her creativity, fresh perspective, and passion for storytelling help bring the mission of Spread Sugar to life and connect with a community that believes kindness never goes out of style.

Ariela is Talya's twin sister and co-founder of Spread Sugar. At just 17 years old, she's passionate about building a brand that reminds people how powerful small acts of kindness can be. Whether she's spending time with friends, getting in a workout, or diving into a great book, Ariela brings positivity, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm to everything she does. She's excited to help grow Spread Sugar into a community where kindness is contagious and everyone feels inspired to leave the world a little sweeter.
